I try to have about 2-4 lts of water a day, of course nobody can have just plain water all day long…so boring…right?
So here’s what I do: –
– I have about 1 lts of plain, normal water.
– 1.5 lts of Tea water….
– 1 lts of Lemon water/Lemonade
– About 2 Glasses of Cranberry Juice through the day. They say Women should have Cranberry Juice every day.
So as part of the whole new attempt at being a little more domestic I thought it would be great to try making Flavoured Lemonade at home . So I turned to Google (as I always do…) for the recipes –

Total Time : 20 min. Serves 4

To make simple syrup: Place 2 cups sugar and 2 cups water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir until sugar is dissolved and let cool. Place lemon juice in a large pitcher; add remaining 4 cups water and 1 cup of the simple syrup or more to taste. Stir in mint leaves and refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve over ice.
- 3 cups blueberries
- 3/4 cups sugar
- 2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 3 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
Place the blueberries and sugar in a blender and puree. Place the lemon juice and water in a pitcher and strain the pureed blueberries through a mediummesh sieve into the pitcher. Stir well and pour into tall ice filled glasses
The lemonades turned out delicious and the whole process was surprisingly fast and easy.
I carry a bottle to work with me and sip on through the day !
